Single Mom's Retreat
Location: Timber Ridge Camp, Spencer, IN
This retreat teaches parenting skills, provides a healthful camping experience and extends evangelistic outreach to the attendees. Past events have brought the ladies tools for furthering their education, preparing their resumes and polishing their interview skills. Other conceots elaboratd on have included household economics. However, each year, new presentations are provided.
Many of the attendees do not attend a specific church. The program is presented from a Christian perspective.
The cost for the retreat is $35 for each mom and $10 for each child.
