June 13-19, 2010
Retool, repay, refresh, replenish, refortify, reform, revival, renewal, renovation, recreation - these are all synonyms people have contributed to the dynamic and delightful Indiana camp meeting that is being planned as we gear-up to serve our Savior! We are a people who are expecting to serve Jesus for eternity by serving Him here. This year's camp meeting theme is, "Selfless Service for the Savior." The thematic focus is intended to prepare Adventist people for service in this world and a higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
Location and Directions Indiana Camp Meeting is held on the campus of Indiana Academy. The Academy is one mile north of Cicero, Indiana, which is approximately 40 miles north of downtown Indianapolis on Highway 19, between Hwy 31 and Hwy 37. Map
Martin Weber, a prolific Adventist author and sought-after speaker, will be our keynote speaker for the weekend. He is assistant to the president for communication in the Mid-America Union Conference; editor of Outlook, the Mid-America Union paper; and an advocate of Christ-centered living. Attendees will thrill to hear of a Savior who wants to heal and use wounded, broken, and renewed people to save the world.
Willie Oliver will be holding a morning workshop, plus the evening Bill Watson-Payne will be outlining the New Testament model of small-group ministry at a daily afternoon seminar. Some people call it "back to the future" as we recall our Christian church roots and how God utilized small groups to take over the world in the first century, and how He is using His method again to grow Adventism around the world. Be more effective in your church's ministry as you learn to implement God's method of church care.
convocation. As the North American Division family life director, Dr. Oliver understands how Satan attacks the family and what we need to make our family a refuge against the devil's assaults. Calvary has the lasting answer to wounded relationships within a family.
Dan Augsburger, recent speaker at the prayer conference/retreat at TRC in January, will be back by popular request. In addition to presenting seminars around the world, he teaches a History of Christian Spirituality course at the theological seminary at Andrews University. He has also developed a much-visited web site: path2prayer.com.

Make a Joyful Noise
Did you know the Bible mentions more than 25 different musical instruments? You may not play the sackbut or timbrel, but at camp meeting this summer you can play your clarinet, trombone or violin during song services! Simple arrangements of every congregational song sung during the evening meetings will be available for all instruments, even the ram's horn if you play one. So, fix your flute, oil your oboe, tune your trumpet and get your embouchure in shape so you can help us make a very joyful noise at camp meeting this summer. For more information or advance copies of the hymns in your instrument's key, please contact Mark Haynal at mhaynal@indysda.org or 317-370-7151.
